Default Riser install on Heritage question?

I'm a short little fella and need risers. My last bike I had 4 1/2" risers. (2up 2.5 back). My question is...can I put 4.5" risers on without changing cables?

Don't know for sure but my guess is yes. I have an 08 and there seems to be enough slack in the cable to allow it. But you never know till you try.

I'm looking to change out my stock Heritage bars for similar reason. I wouldn't want them to be any higher so I don't think new risers would be for me.

What is required to extend the brake? I'm assuming I'd have to do this with the ones you have for sale?

How much for you lowers?

I did exaclty what you are wanting to do before I got my apes. Got the risers from jp cycle, took off the old, slapped on the new. Only hting I had to do was bend (straighten out) the metal part of the brake line right where it came out of the master cylinder. When I got my apes I gave tghe risers to my dad. He put them on his 92 heritage which still has the original cables.

There are two brake line cable clamps on the back panel tin. Follow your line from the master cylinder and you'll see them. I just removed the top one and that gave it enough slack.
Are you asking about the chrome wind deflectors? If so, they are sold.

Finally got a chance to get them installed. Didn't have to change anything since my bars are shorter than the standard Heritage bars. The bend in the rubber line near the triple tree gave it enough slack. Thanks everyone for you help.
