Well, did some spring mods over the weekend.... Wasn't sure if I was going to like the light kit and horn on the x-bones, I guess im a fan of the bagger looking HD's.... LOL.
I also did a search on the forum, and found some posts on wiring the kit, so thanks guys!! Did the install and wiring myself,,, LOL, trust me, Im no wrench....but the CB radio days, finally paid off.
The Horn itself is not as loud as expected, the stock horn is still a bit louder.... but a breeze to install.
The light kit I had powdercoated, but the bummer is on of the bulbs where defective.... I did a mock up wiring before doing the hard wiring, and the right lamp was not firing up.... For a brand new set of lights, strange that one bulb was dead. Well, Ill get that straightened out tomorrow...
Nice looking set up you got there. I like the horn. I'm looking at getting one of those also. How loud is it? I am gonna mount mine on the bracket in between the downtubes.
