Default 07 Night Train tank cover

I am looking to replace the factory plastic tank cover that is between my seat and my dash. Any good ideas on where to find them....I've had no luck online.

I have a chrome one that I will paint black. I thought it was metal when I bought it as it was like 46.00. I also have a leather one with a pouch, may be handy. I will have the leather one next week and will try that first

I have a cell phone pouch there. VERY practical and cool-looking.

I sent my plastic one to a custom seat maker for a template. He used a heavy piece of leather and covered it with elephant skin. Looks great and very diff.

what is involved with taking off the cover, and (in yall's opinions) will it look good/decent without one at all...my OEM cover looks warped and is pissing me off, id rather do with out than have that piece of crap on my tank

it's really easy. if it's like the Fat Boy, Heritage and Standard, remove the acorn nut on the dash, lift the dash and the small screw (usually just under the front of the seat). takes about 3 minutes... if you have to dig around for a screwdriver.

they are in HD's cataloge and a lot of aftermarket companies carry them also.
