The inner lamp ring on my nacelle has rubber mounted nuts (best I can explain it) that comes through the back. From there, you screw the lamp ring in from the front.
Over the years and weather, I guess the rubber rotted and the nuts are pulling through. When I get the RPMs up, I can hear the nacelle vibrating and I'm thinking the ring is going to fly off one day and hit me in the face.
HD will sell me a whole nacelle (around $300 or so) but I'm hoping I can find an alternative for those screws. I guess they are rubber mounted both because you can't get your fingers back there to hold a nut in place and I'm sure the rubber provides some vibration damping.
Anyone know a source for these types of nuts or a workaround?
