You need some good tools to remove these torxbolts, they are firmly fitted, something to drain the dot4 and somebody to help to get the spring of the stand back in its position.
I like the bones with forward controls!

With the black shift and brake pedal and straight footpegs it has imo a
very clean look. I'm under 6 feet and at a stoplight i was sometimes not
fast enough getting my feet over the floorboards on the ground and felt almost over. Hey Zacharia_11 have the same seat as well, only mine was stiched which i dont like but cannot send it back. Also put off the reflectors, for that same clean look, and the front directionals. I'm waiting for my BSL exhaust.

Whats really impressive about the bones, is that it has really brought alot of new and past riders back to HD, and each bike pictured is really showing personal taste, style, and how versatile the bike can be.... Its really cool!!!! No Mod right or wrong..... its your ride.....!! Ride from your heart!

I fully agree!

I am taking my bike apart this weekend to do some more modifications to it. Half the 'fun' of biking is messing with my bike! I am waiting on some lsr 2 into 1 pipes but the project I am about to start is a handle bar swap. To do it I am going to need to replace all the cables. There is a lot to that... so I took Friday off of work to mess around out in the garage.

Curious abouy what bar you have chosen. Keep us informed. Take care with disconnecting the connectorcables under the gastank.
Maybe this is a interesting thread for you: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...r-install.html
Good luck and take your time!

Zacharia. Thanks for the pics. I really like the look with the forwards BUT I also like the look with the floorboards. The direction I am going with my bike I think the forwards would suite the look better. I am installing a bobbed fender on my Bones. I will post pics when it is done. Thanks for all the replies.

Is anyone running forwards with the spring seat?
How tall are you just wondering if it will create a reach issue for me.
