relocating coil

Default relocating coil
somebody posted that they had taken the seat post out and relocated the coil where the horn is and used the horn cover to cover the coil.. can't find the post but have a few questions..
isn't the seat post part of the frame and if you take it out what will happen?? looks like a neat easy mod. and who the heck uses the horn anyway?? if any pics available of this mod please post
