KSKI: A friend of mines 09 softail says his tranny shifts a lot better (quiet) and no clunk when starting any more compared to his 07 softy.

I came real close to buying a bike from Dream Machines on Ebay. Looks like they got real nice stuff and a good reputation but I wouldn't know since I lost the bid on the bike I was trying to get. I think you'd be doing yourself a favor by buying used, especially in this market. Lots of nice used bikes out there with low miles and exceptionally low prices. I bought my Deluxe from an HD dealership that was on consignment for another customer back in Sept '08. The bike had 3,100 miles on it, was in mint condition. I paid $12,000 for it plus tax and another $900 for the 3 yr extended warranty through Harley. I normally only buy brand new cars bikes, etc but I could not pass this deal up. In addition, the bike already had about $1500 woth of extras, windshield, sissy bar, engine guards, etc. Think you will love the '07 Heritage. Good luck.
