Unfortunately here in good old UK seat suppliers are few and far between
Do you think people like Mustang will ship to the UK ??

Ideally you'd want to be able to try before you buy or at least exchange for a different seat. I've read good and bad opinions about all the various options so it's obviously a very individual thing.

I wasn't happy with my stock Heritage seat when I first bought the bike. Seemed hot and uncomfortable after only 50 miles or so. But after several months I think both my $ss and the seat had been broken in. At least somewhat.

But, I was still dreading a 1200 mile roadtrip to Canada. I just knew it would be brutal. I was amazed to find that I handled it just fine. In fact I rode home non stop. What made the big difference?.

I was using an HD tourpak in solo mode which doubled as a backrest. I wouldn't go on any long trip now w/o a backrest. I also found that riding pants with no raised pocket seams in the seat area help with comfort on the long rides.

There should be a number to call on the website. Not sure how the customer service is for mustang euro but the sales reps that i talked to were very knowledgeable about their products and very helpful. Also, since i called to place my order instead of just ordering off the web I got a 10% discount and $1 shipping, so definitely worth giving them a call.

Check out the write up I did last month about seats. My uncle has a Fat Boy with the HD Sundowner on it and it is like riding a couch down the road compaired to sitting on a saw hourse. The sundowner felt great and the wide seat fit the fatboy perfect.
Like to my seat post wiht pictures of several styles:

I took my seat to a local upholstry guy and had memory foam added and had it recovered. Much more comfortable and looks better too.

Would you happen to have any pics of your seat you could share?
