a question for all you guys that have installed new exhaust systems. what did you do about the passenger peg? on my 07 deluxe the peg is mounted to the stock exhaust bracket. Im puttin on a set of hooker rebel longs this weekend and im curious. thanks.
I wish I had a closer view of it but I replaced the stock pegs with HD-logo chrome pegs and I did away with the bracket for the stock exhaust since the V&H BSS didn't use it.
my wife is short so it was manditory to relocate my rear pegs. I used the front holes for the fender strut does require new longer bolts but has worked fine for the last 5 yers and 45 thou miles..
thanks for the replys guys. i wonder if harley makes a hanger for the right side like i have on the left. i can see what appears to be rubber plugs in the swingarm/frame. i assume thats where it will mount.
The bracket got discarded when I installed my pipes, but there was another mounting hole with a plastic plug in it. I removed the plug and put the peg there, which is even to the other side.

that is the same place the fatboy has the peg and the hooker pipes came with the extra mounting bolt and spacers needed.

So did my V&H..... well it came with the bolt. The stock spacer is to be removed, essentially bringing the right peg closer to the frame. If I ever go with a total solo setup, I'll be looking for a couple of those plugs mentioned here. Chrome ones like on the CVO's..... JR
