Default Touring on a Rocker

Hoping someone can help me out. I want to do some touring on my Rocker-C and will need to add a sissy-bar to accommodate my luggage set-up. Has any of my Rocker friends purchase the sissy-bar designed to bolt to the jump seat? A guy on e-bay is selling them (item no. 260382161018)?

have seen them but haen't put one on mine... find the ride of a rocker is pretty stiff for touring comfort...I'd see about some air shocks or something better than the stiff stock shocks...be like touring on a rigid

My wife and I did a couple of 1k weekend trips last summer with that setup and the factory luggage racks. I agree about the stiff ride, old forest service roads can be a real @#$% with a loaded down rocker.

Don't know that I'll be riding any forestry roads, but rode 2-up with my wife on my rocker, and other then her complaints about the seat the ride wasn't too bad. Still need a solution to hauling luggage strapped to a sissy-bar though.

Default Get rid of the Rocker and buy a caravan!!!

The Rocker was not ment to be used for cargo, if you need to carry more stuff than your b*alls then go ahead and sell the Rocker buy a Caravan and an apron...

For those of you who compare the ride of a Rocker to a rigid, have never, I repeat never road a rigid.

owned two rigids..was making a comparison...the rocker does not have a soft shock...and does ride stiff...okay for what I want to do with it...but would modify my shocks if I were ever to consider going across country or using it for long rides...I repeat I've owned two

Man you got that right. I rode from ATL to Sturgis for the 50th on a rigid... I almost never walked again.. lol.. My Rocker with 422's rides pretty nice to me and when I put some weight on the back it really smooths out..
