Default Help makin the low fuel light go out.

Help!!! Installed the Ness Dummy Fuel cap on my '06 Deluxe, this eliminates the stock Fuel gauge. Now the low fuel light is always on. Anybody got any ideas? I don't know if it is the same as when you install the LED guage?

can you take the guts out of the old gauge, and put it in the space under the new cap?

You may be able to ground the wire that goes to the fuel gauge, that might make it read full all the time. Or maybe pull the low fuel bulb out.

Default ground

For some reason I would think that the system would be looking for more than a simple ground. A specific load. Since the actual sending unit in the tank is really nothing more than a poteniometer. What does Ness say about it?
