Turn Signal : My front stopped blinking, when I replace the bulb, it works for like 10 minutes then it stops again, did that 3 times already, any ideas ?.
Carb / Starting : Bike refuses to stop when hot, so after a long ride and I stop in a gas station, I better wait for like 10 minutes before the bike start again, it cranks without starting.
Bike is 01 Stock Carb TC88 with SE pipes and Air Filter.
On the turn signal the contacts may be corroded and by putting in a new bulb it allows it to make contact again for a bit. Try cleaning the contacts and use some electric contact spray from an auto parts store. As far as the hard starting when hot, have you tried pulling the enrichener ****, cleaning the air filter or it may be clogged jets if the carb has never been off.
Fuel vaporizes as it goes into the combustion chamber. Too hot and it may not have enough wet to it to ignite? Cleaning the jets may allow more fuel to get to the spark. Have you tried replacing your bulb with the one from the opposite side? One of my spots blew out and when I tried replacing it the new one was no good. Maybe you're getting defective bulbs?
Hi,
the bulb is actually a crazy situation, what you mention is very interesting, although I heared 'Truimph' guys complain about the same and problem was in the starter ?
someone also mentioned 'pump starting' the bike, I have not tried that yet, weather is not very good now, so I will do that on Friday.
In the meantime any input will be highly appreciated , otherwise I am stuck with the Stealership
is the bulb defiantly blown (Other sheep's suggestion)?
are you putting a 6 volt bulb in by mistake ?
Do you have a multi meter with peak hold capability (to check for spikes )
never had the start problem, last yr I read one bro said if he used the kill switch he had hot restart problems, He found that if he used the key switch he had better luck starting,
Maybe its worth a try if that is what Ur doing!!!

The bulb is running as 'running light' fine, but does not blink when I signal,
This happened for 2 bulbs so far in a row and I bought both from HD .
I don' thave a multimeter, but worth trying I will check at the local CanadianTires store.
