I could'nt get my clamps to line up properly on the forks until I decided to read the directions. Lesson is, tighten screws until almost tight, close clamps, then finish tightning, will line up perfectly, I love mine.

are they different than the ones on the Heritage? cause they work great.

I like mine.....It's been on a few short trips (nothing more than 450 miles in 1 day). It was a bit of a change for me- had to get used to the wind hitting my face at an angle, as opposed to straight on. No complaints, though.

My wife has one on her sporty and it works great. Easy to put on and take off and very good quality.
