Open to suggestions and pics are even better! Maybe even other stock bars with a tad more pullback?????
I have an 04 and wanted the controls closer. They have them in the catalog for the Deuce. I think they come back 1 1/2" with no changing of any cables.

I'm with Duck, mostly around town bike but you can go as far as you like. Mines been from VA to Daytona twice and to Sturgis once. I'm 6-2 and I needed 3" extended controls. Not much of a two up bike either. However mine has the Screaming Eagle rear shocks (about 1" longer then stock which lowers the travel about 3/4") and the stock front springs and my 190 lb bottoms the rear on hard interstate dips like bridges. It handles fine at legal speed limits and brakes fine. Brakes are not as good as a Yamaha 1100 VStar I had which was about same power but had two disk on front. Yamaha turned about 400 more RPM at 65

Do a Deuce!!! I've got my 03 100th anniversary model and I absolutely love the bike. Had an 03 softtail standard before and just can't compare. I also had an 03 VTX 1800 w/240 rear tire and tons of custom stuff, paint, chrome, etc. in excess of $30,000 and I like the deuce better!!!

Have an '02 Deuce and absolutely love it. Am in the process of installing Street Slammers...little more pullback for ride comfort. Did some other mods too,180 tire, turn signal relocate etc. Buy it,you'll love it.

over 60K miles on my '03. front end floats a little at 80 mph on I-75, but easily makes the 2.5 hour run form Fort Myers to North of Tampa non stop with out any problems.
