Went the Lyndall site to check 'em out. Those pads sound pretty good and not to pricey (50-60 a set) and claim to last 18,000 miles. Which ones are you guys using Gold Plus or Z Plus?
Sweet ride Chazmanian! I've got the same looking rotors.

Thanks FX,
Have you ridden yer' bike with the polished rotors yet?
First time I did I essentially blew through a couple stop signs til' I recalibrated how hard to pull and push on the levers and to start said pushing pulling about 50 feet sooner than with a set of non polished ones!
Mine is that bad.
I'm used to it now though. Probably get a good set of pads on the fvcker and start locking up the brakes or something wierd!
I may have to try the Lyndalls. I'm not happy with how the bike stops at all since I replaced the rotors with polished ones..
I feel better that its not just me?
After riding my Harley all week as it is my primary form of transport when I get on my KTM off roader and go trailriding I dern near get thrown over the bars as its Brembo's are so derned strong in comparision.

Not yet, I'm trying to get a chrome rear rim and brake calipers to install in one shot. The 07 rim seems near impossible to get for under 1K. I didn't even consider the loss of braking ! I was just concerned with getting pads that wouldn't destroy the rotors. Seems the Lyndall's may be the ones. I thought maybe EB or some other makers would be mentioned. Also, got my rotors from the same popular selling venue for a good price.
I've been using the Lyndall Gold-Z pads for a while now.Tried EBS and Lyndoll gold's but neither stop as good as the Z's.They will squeel some when you get them hot but stop good just the same.54.00 a set from the Lyndoll site.
Chaz when are you gonna make some mods to that stock azz looking bike, you know maybe some nice wheels and exhaust?LOL

Ha!
I have a set of some really wierd almost beach bars? With built in risers. My issue is they wont look cool with either a tank or a Jockey setup.
2 month wait on the tank shifter I want from LaBriola....Dunno if I'm ready to do a reach back every time I need to change a gear.
So yeah its a stocker. For now!!
Kinda feel I'm heading down the home stretch of modding this Train before I call that bike good and move on to something else....Like a Sporty project bike. A homeade Nightster with apes and a foot clutch maybe?
They are literally giving sporties away on my local Craigslist with like 100o miles 3-4 years old. I'm almost scared to buy one as it will probably be way too much fun and may become the bike I grab for local errands and hooliganism.
