Someone help me here. Im fixin to buy my 3rd set of tires for my 08 fatboy. 16,000 miles. I do not ride rough never spin a tire. Anyway the 205 in the 200 series are considerably less that the 407 . The factory tire is the 407 and i understand it is of two different compounds harder in the center and softer on the side walls. Is the 205 the same compound makeup as the 407 factory tire? Help me here thanks......
Wow. I'm just changin out my 407 and they the same price through my harley dealer. A buddy of mine had the 205 and went through 3 my 12000 so I'd say they wear even quicker.
Not the same, hince the diff # 205/407. the 205 is softer compound and dif tread pattern, and yes much cheaper. But my ? is why buy from a Stealership??? Try Bike Bandit.com.
