I'm going to ask this question here becuase I always hang here anyway. A lot of you guys have windshields, and further a lot of you guys seem to have cut those windshields down to a lower profile to suit your vision and comfort needs. You keep saying how easy it is. What tool are you using to cut your windshield down. And how do you make it uniform and symmetrical?

Look in the DIY section. You will find instructions, complete with pictures. If you have problems, let me know and I'll try to help. I have cut several, and it is no problem.
The Sabresaw method did not work for me. Too much vibration to get a good cut.
I went by Tap Plastic's (local plastic shop) suggestion and used a side cutting bit. I practiced on the part I was throwing out anyhow before making the real cut.
I did post the issues I came across near the end of that long thread and what worked/didn't work.
Put wide masking tape on both sides of the plastic. I use a sabre saw with a fine blade. After cutting I then use a DA(dual action)air disc sander to smooth the cut. Finish by removing the sharp edge with some fine sandpaper.
It takes me less than an hor to complete the job.
