I'd have the wheel balanced without the tire.
I'm with Citoriplus and HBWill, I don't think it's anything else other then the wheel and or rotor, especially when the problem goes away when you put the stock wheel back on.
Did the dealer mount the tire on the wheel? I'd get them to pull the tire off and run the wheel on the balancer without the rotor to see if the wheel is a fcuked, and then again with the rotor installed, just because it's new doesn't mean it can't be a dud.
If you dropped 2G's on the wheel I spend the couple of extra bucks to find out if you got a bad one and see if it can't be warrantied. Isnt your dealer trying to help solve the problem after selling you a tire, install kit, and a $2000 dollar wheel??
I doubt you're the only guy to have the Blade installed on a FX front end, and if the motors harmonics are causing these problems then it would make sense that we'd be hearing about others having the same problems.
What???? $2K???? that is almost what I paid for my entire wheel set, tires, rotos, pulley and everything... You better dig deep to be sure it is not a defective wheel and/or a defective match up with your bike's model and the wheel, if the parts book says it fits you ride it better fit like a damn glove for $2K which I think is not all you've spent on that setup,
My .02, Did you check all the motor mounts for proper torque? I would think the extra mass of the new wheel would help to dampen the vibes. Since you know you have a bad crank, are you waiting for it to grenade the motor, why not get that fixed and see what happens. Like already mentioned, spin the wheel without the tire and maybe mount that tire to a known good wheel and see what happens. I'd also watch them do the balancing just to make sure it done right and not another of the famous " Thats normal" Good Luck

Dealer, are you serious? I used a static propeller fixture on knife edges and balanced with the rotor installed. The rotor runout is .003 and pads retract when lever is released. I agree there must be others out there without problems, so this is an exception for some reason as yet not determined. Being the stubborn bastard I am I will not give up that easy.

Good luck,
Mimo.
Why not stick a knife in my back while you are at it, as if I don't feel bad enough
This wheel lists everywhere at about 1150 is Us . Factor in the dif in Canadian funds, plus taxes. Customizing here is expensive.
