My Touring FATTY
I am getting my FATBOY set up for touring. Basicaly it is done except for some chrome mods that I want to do. It has HARLEY saddlebags, a touring trunk (aftermarket), engine guard and highway pegs, a HARLEY DAVIDSON GARMIN ROAD TECH ZUMO GPS with MP3, etc.
I LOVE IT.
I know, some of you are going to say that I should have bought an ULTRA CLASSIC or that a FATBOY shouldn't be set up for touring. All I have to say is I like and respect your ideas, please respect mine.
I gotta say that FATBOYS truely are an all around great bike. This FATBOY is my dream come true!

Nice set up! I've done the same thing, except for the trunk (didn't know it was available). My zumo is on the way, should have it by the weekend. I'm planning a 600 mile beach trip in a couple of weeks!

Take my word for it, seeing the reflection of the back of your blued upper exhaust
pipe on your oil tank is gonna irritate the crap outta you till you put some different pipes on there.
What a retarded design that was. Someone at the motor company needs a smack up the back of the head.

I'm on my second Fat Boy and its bugged my life till I changed the pipes both times. Putting the new V&H on this weekend

Nice Job, thats why I got mine, needed a little storage. I've thought about the tour bag but not decided to get it yet. Still only do short trips, not overnighters..

Nice looking set up, I was lookinf at the trunk myself, currently have a SAC bag, which gives more storage, but i do like the look of the trunk too. Was considering it with the quick detach to replace the sissy bar and rack combo for quick switch outs. Zumo is onm my list too!
