Check out forum sponsor top down products as well. They have a really trick one that swivels and such, and it mounts to the axle as opposed to the swingarm. Someone put one but I can't remember his name.

That is the one that is probably the best one I have ever seen. Problem is, its $299 (but can get 15% HDforum discount).
That thing is worth the $299 if you want a really nice piece. Compare it to the flimsy looking road 6 stuff and those are like a joke. If I had $299 for a plate holder, that would be it for sure. By the way I am not affiliated in any way.

That RotoPlate looks top notch, and wish I could afford it right now. Makes any other brand look silly. That is the only other one I would ever consider besides my current one.
But, I have two Road6Customs plate holders, and have seen many people with them. They are not flimsy, its steel. I have yet to see one bend/brake. Add your own light if you want. Its an option on a budget, while not being a cheap piece of plastic like I have seen some other brands. (I have no relation to Road6Customs, but find it funny when people bash something they havent used).
I did not to mean to sound negative about the road 6, as I have neither of these products. I just remember seeing one of these someone installed and thought it was trick. I like the way it can be rotated between vertical and horizontal especially.

no prob. sorry if i took it the wrong way.
RotoPlate just looks amazing. Great product invention and so far all the reviews are great.
