Here is my 09, with tool box installed> I did not add the peg extension, but did rotate the pegs so they close horizontal vs vertical. Like the lines better with the pipes as well as toolbox. Passengers have had no issues with the pegs this way, and I have asked if the side with the box seemed like a problem. No Issues with her at all.
