After swearing for years that I would never spend the money to get a Dyno, I will be getting bike done this morning. I am quite interested in seeing how what my numbers are and how this will affect general ridability. I will post my numbers and sheet when I get back, as long as I can get my freaking scanner to work. I am quite excited as you can tell. I might ahve to take the long way home through the canyons just to test it out. Yup...I am going to have to do that.
That's it for now. I added baffles to my exhaust because I figured it would really boost my torque, which it did, but the pipes were far too quiet so I pulled them out. Gonna have to wait for a new crop from the money tree to do anything else. It's not due until next year according to the forecast.
Okay. I just got back. I had to go home and get my laptop as his computer did not see my power commander. I started with 70hp and 80tq and now I am at 75 hp and 84 torque. Not a great amount of difference, but I can definitely feel it. I took the canyons home and they keyboard for my laptop flew out of my bag. I guess the extra tq did help with that.
One other thing, I thought my new slip on's were quieter than the old one's but I gotta say they are loud as hell still I realized when the dyno was being done.
Anubiss-
Is your bike an 88b. If so not too bad of gains over stock. This winter I'm going to do cams on top of my existing BSS, Big Sucker, and PCV then get it tuned by a good tuner with hope of getting proportional gains in my 96.
