If you put bike on a lift & it's level, then your gonna lose a bit more oil. I installed the bracket on a lift but installed my clutch cable on the kickstand & lost a few ounces. I installed the Labriola kit & the bracket holes didn't line up perfect. Had to ream the holes to get it to fit. Make sure you loctite the bolts.
After about a 12 pack we decided to jockey my 07 deluxe. Did everything in the shop and 10 dollars at the hardware store. The hardest part is figuring out where to run your cable and where to mount to be functional. If I knew how to post a pic I would but im new to this forum

I know this is an older thread but has anyone came up with a reverse mounted clutch lever / pedal. I am kicking around the idea to get a suicide shifter but I think it would be cool if you pressed down and released the clutch with your heel instead of your toes. anyone ever seen it done that way
Ist of all Guys I am in Thailand, Chiang Mai. My $8 is in Garage in Seattle, needs to be there 2 more years so I can then bring it here without Paying 300% Taxes and import fees... Enough said there.
I have been here for 15 years and have built a Chopper for my Wife. Same length as Sportster Used a Thai Tiger Boxer 200cc which I having plenty of time brought needed parts back to U.S. and had it Bored/Stroked and sleeved to 305cc. I want to add a Jockey shift to this build would like to use a Labriola kit. If anyone has kit uninstalled can they take a picture of mounting bracket (Mount to engine...) So I have an idea of what I am going to be required to make as an adapter to weld to frame. everything is pretty much same except I will need to rotate shifter arm 180 degrees so it still work 1 down and 2-5 up (Back). I think this would be the safest kit as clutch is in hand... And foot for my wife.
I have already created a kit but it attaches right to splined shift shaft and sits at rear of tank in front of seat, for her I am afraid it will unbalance her on bike. I have created an adapter that lets her use either hand or foot clutch. Both cables attach to foot lever and both have 2 adjustments one at clutch lever (engine) and pedal the other at hand lever and foot pedal. I like the idea of moving hand cable to jockey shift mount, but I will still retain the added foot clutch addition. My wife likes to use her hands when she talks...
I just want to see how bracket is mounted to engine (V Twin). And size of bracket Then I have idea what I need to machine up as an adapter and weld to frame and use center engine mount above Carburetor (on engine) as a support) anyone who can send picture be greatly appreciated.
