Hey pals, I have one of those girls bikes. I'm short, so the seat height fits me and I can't stand the **** swoosh on the heritage (my previous bike). So I got a low bike with a sharper paint scheme in my opinion. Aint that what it's all about. Individuality and not being a poser. The thing is tho, I love them all. My questions, what is stage 1 and stage 2. I want to change pipes, prob V&Hs. Do I need to install a fuel pac (or tuner) and a stage 1 or 2 air cleaner? I just don't know about all this newer stuff. Thanks for any replys. I dig seeing other bikes on this sight.

You did good.... stage 1 is normally pipes and air cleaner. Stage 2 is more engine work. The EFI change is dependant on your future plans. The more work you plan for the future the better a system you should get. For just pipes you can live with a XiED to fool the EFI and that for some is enough for also doing the air cleaner. If you plan on doing more then that get a PC-III/PC V preloaded with a map that matches what you are buying. FuelMoto sells it preloaded and has free downloads for matching your future plans.

If all you plan to do is change out the pipes and air and get some fuel management, then all you need is the V&H FuelPak. That would be a Stage 1 upgrade. It'll work great with the V&H pipes. However as Driften stated, if you plan on doing any other engine upgrades (Stage 2), then you should look at a more powerful fuel management package. I've got the FuelPak on both of my bikes and I'm very happy with it. Good luck!
