Does anyone add a second horn without an extra relay? I am thinking to add a low tone to give it a boost, can the circuit handle the amperage on 2 horns? Thanks!
Was looking into doing the same thing. A relay "should" be added with its own fuse as those Fiamm horns draw 5 amps each. Look at the stock horn wires, they are not the proper gauge for 10 amps of current nor is the horn switch. You may eventually burn out the horn switch. Also, the horns will not be as loud because they will not get the full 10 amps they require.
i was told you can replace the 90db stock horn with one from napa that fits the harley housing and is 134db and under $40.

K-Ride is spot on here. Without a relay and a seperate fused sorce of power directly off the battery you cant do 10Amps.
I ran a fused relay line directly off my battery to power my airhorns. Without that relay and when I tested them just by plugging them directly into the OEM horn wires?
They sounded like a "Pixie" bike from K-Mart.
Ran the relay and power directly off the battery?
Sounded like they came directly off BNSF's finest!!
