I'm thinking of picking up another bike and was wondering if anyone has heard anything bad about the 1996 Springers, ( engine problems , trans , ect. ) I came across this bike with a good history and extras. The seller is the original owner and the only mods done was jetting of carb slip on mufflers, and few chrome pieces here and there. He has all the paperwork and maintenance records since new. It has 17000 miles but looks good for its age. I have had several bikes before and know what to look for but it doesn't hurt to ask around about it. Thanks
If not its still an awesome ride - keep in mind your getting close to one of the last years of the Evo Softails - gone just 3-4 years later....By 96 that motor was refined.
Rigid Softail - She vibrates good though! (although you probably know that already.....)
