Hello all. Looking for a good two up seat for my bike. One contender is the Corbin Dual Tour, another is a pillow top seat from Drag Specialties.
However here is the real trick, I have a '96 fatboy and since I am Ebay hunting to save a dime or two most of what is out there is for newer models. How much real difference is there between 2000 and later and 98 and earlier seat connections. Also I have a 5 gallon tank on my bike and custom fenders. In other words I still may need to do some customization.
Out of curiosity, front to back, which is longer in the seat setup? Newer or older models?
Ken I can tell you that Fatboy, Heritage, and Deluxe seats from 2000 to 2006 all inter-change with the two up seats. I would find a buddy and try his out before buying one and it not working.
Call Chuck at C & C Seats for more info or go to his web site www.ccseats.com They are great seats at good prices and great customer service. I think he also has an e bay store.
don't know the answers to your question but I have a Corbin Dual Tour....they customized it for me because of my height for no extra charge..great back support and great seat...

My only reservation about Mustang is that from most of the reviews I read Mustangs sit you higher and forward of the factory seat. However I am 6'5" with a 34" inseam. Up and FORWARD are bad. Up and back would be ideal but I could settle on back and down.
Anyway like I said from what I have read, whatever that is worth. Actually I am debating repacking my existing seat for my likes. Just a crazy idea I am pondering. I am big on do it yourself where reasonable.
the seat does not actually set you forward. it sets you upright and if you measure the distance with the stock seat the center is the same. you may sit a little higher as it is thicker
