i like the one you picked out, but i think the ones chaz showed you are more rider friendly and more comfortable (just my opinion). also, i heard a rumor that you may be able to find some OEM springer kits at a dealer in their obsolete parts wearhouses, for quite a bit less. i would ask around your local dealers and see if they have any conversion kits from the late 90's. a lot of folks converted softail standards into springers back then.

Same size to same size yes. And if they get lubed they work great for a long time. And when they fail they usualy wreck the shaft and sometimes the bore they ride in.

Are you sure? Here is mine from AS. I haven't removed the dust caps and seals to check if rollers or not but they are a sealed bearing vs a bushing only. And with the size of them I have no worries about them.

Ok. Ya got me! LOL! I kept thinking about those damn brass bushings I kept having to put in every time I took it apart and re-assembled.... Sorry.

I wanna put a springer black front end on my 07 denim Train with a crossbones fat front wheel (16 I think). Not sure where to start but I think I will need a wider fork for that wheel. Hmmmmm
