well someone pulled out in front of me. hit the guy at about 25-30mph impact. my forks are toast and my dna 52 spoke wheel bent.
anyway .... i was thinking about changing to a springer frontend. the thing i don't like about the oem springers is the de-raked looked. i think the springer softail is 93.5" and my bike is 95". my bike is lowered in the rear 1 1/2". is there a way to get alittle more rake out of an oem springer? also would i have the same issue with a dna springer?
thanks
clint
Two different rakes on Harley Springers you want an FX one it has more rake to it. The raked top tree that Tom has linked above looks good.I can't remember who but some one on here has done it.Also call Paucho they will give you some useful info.Looking at your size and amount of gear you carry I don't think a DNA will cut it for you.

DO NOT USE THE DNA SPRINGER!!! I don't want to get into a cyber-argument about the quality of the DNA springer, or who has and has not used them. There have been TONS of instances of cracked legs and metal fatigue problems with them. The simplest way to put it... "You get what you pay for!". There is a reason they are 1/4 the price of a real HD unit.
As for the rake and length, get the FX model. It is 1" longer and has more rake than the FL springer. It's easy to tell the difference, look at the bottom side of the lower tree, it will be stamped either FX or FL.
