thats pretty close after a stage 1. i've got some friends with similar set-ups and thats close to what they're getting. stop and go around town will drink it a little quicker than more extended runs. does the bike run good, no popping, hesitation, etc?
Yes, the bike runs good. I suppose I just didn't expect the pipes to make such a difference. So it's good to see that others are getting similar gas mileage.
For three yrs now. at stock, stg1 and now with cam, it had always been between 39-45 no matter how or where I ride, except when I use gas with Ethanol, then take a couple more off that
I've just bought a new Fat Boy and am still running it in, I find its a bit heavy on the gas at the moment compared to the Dyna I traded in, but I still get about 39 - 42 around town.
i depends on how you drive it and the tire pressure and the bike itself. i can get 32 in under 30 mph and lots of stops. you can get a dyno run done and they will give you a fuel ratio readout if you ask.
I'm getting 42-45 combined city/highway in my 08 Heritage with stage 1, V&H straight shots and K&N RK3909. I can go 220 miles on a tank before filling up.
