I like the look of spokes over mags, but they are way too high maintenance for me. In addition to being a pain to clean and polish, I had to get them trued more often than I thought I should have. Best I remember, I had to take it in 3 times is less than 30K to get front wheel trued.

You can send your in for an Exchange. They will send you a chrome or polished one in exchange for your cast wheel. Look on Ebay. Then all you have to do is press the bearings back in, and mount your tires. I had the cast wheels on mine, and hated the look. I went with the Chrome wheels because they looked better and were easier to clean. I wanted to put some fat daddys or DNA radial spokes, but have heard mixed reviews on both.
Good luck.

I was in the same boat and still would like to do a spoked front wheel too, but it just wasn't in the budget to spend a whole lot of dough so I did the next best thing.

POWDERCOAT IT!
