+ 1. I have an '07 FXSTC I bought new. Have followed the recommended pressures religiously. Have just hit the wear bars on the rear tire at 10,000 miles, prolly good for another 1000. Front tire looks like it'll go at least another 5000.

Thats some pretty good mileage on your rear tire. I've been getting between 8,000-9,000 on mine and most say THAT is good. Seems the average for OEM Dunlops is around 7,000 for the rear from all I've read. I don't ride very aggressively and I'm sure that helps. Good tire pressure is key as you've proven!
Got 10,000 on my stock Dunlop 402's The Rear would have been good for another 2,000 Miles anyway and at least 5-6,000 on the Front, but went to Elite 3's while doing the 10,000 mile service ran them at 36 Front and 40 Rear..
HD owner manual tire pressure recommendations are for stock Dunlops. If you're using
something else, check with the manufacture for a recommendation as it's often much
different / higher - Metzeler for example.
I just bought a 2007 Softail Custom with only 461 miles. The bike didn't come with an owner's manual. I'd appreciate it someone would tell me the recommended front/rear tire air pressure for solo and two-up riding. Also, let me know if you're aware of a site where I can download an owner's manual?
I know you already got the answer, but the VIN sticker on your down tube has the factory tire specs, size and pressure
