Yea, I agree with ya. I like the footboards too. A friend of mine said "You need to take those footboards off. I've heard people say they can hit the pavement and make the bike scoot out from under you." I told him I'm not planning on riding like Colin Edwards or Valentino Rossi. I'm planning on easy ridin'.
I've scraped my floorboards on many occasions (hard a couple of times) and never once did the bike act like it was going to scoot out from under me.

I love the floorboards, like Pat said, they offer a lot of comfort for long distance. I do have to admit, looks kinda sharp with pegs though...thanks for the pics Haksaw.

Sharp lookin scoot there Brian.

Looks like the controls bolt right on to where the floor board support assemblies go on. Didn't realize it would look that clean, looks good. I'd have trouble keeping my boots off the pipes though. Any heel rests available?

Thanks for noticing the forks. They simply have 3 coats of paint on em now. Wanted to try it out to see if I liked the look before sandblasting, smoothing and powder coating.

yeah, they just bolt up to the existing holes. I just had to buy a new stand and kick stand wedge so the bike would lean over enough.

once you have them on you could put any pegs on there you want (and heel rests)

I just bought these on ebay, they weren't much .....300 if i remember correctly

here's some better pics of my deluxe with the forward controls. This is probably as clean as my bike will be all summer so it's a good day for pics. Getting ready to head out for another 4 days tomorrow early am.

That is one nice looking Heirtage Brian. I love the looks of those V&H Big Shot Staggered. I am going to order a set soon. Did you get them from the dealer or order them from another source?

They came on it. Bought the bike used. Previous owner also installed quite baffels. Still, it's loud enough for me. I took the end caps off the other night just to see what it would look like. I like the looks of it

Strock Harley forward control brackets will fit and you can use all your existing parts. Simple and fast. Let me know anybody wants to trade with a chrome bracket upgrade.
