I have an 18x5.5 and the only issue i have is my tire rubbed my license plate bracket cause one fo my friends todl me to try a 200/55/18 avon which is alot taller. Its on a 18x5.5 wheel. I moved the plate up and cut about 3/4 or an inch off the bracket and its fine but it just doesnt fill the fender up the way i want. going to a 200/50/18 metz next. Wish i knew about the 18x7 before tho.

18" wheel is the hawt setup for a lowered Train or any sloptail for that matter....The issues arise when you stray from the smaller Metz tires and start doing D-Lops and Avons. They are way bigger!!

Run the 18" with a Metz 210 and lower it just right and you will be golden!!

I went from a stock 16 to an 18 and no problem. Overall diameter and width did not change.

Why is this an issue? Seems most guys that are running the 18 inch wheel are lowered bikes +2 inches... and also have 21" up front...
