I ordered a complete set of 16" apes and chrome controls from them. Overall I was pretty satisfied with the company and there service. One problem I encountered was the brake light switch would not touch the brake lever when the brake was applied. I had to put a screw in the lever to make it work. I know of at least three other people who had the same problem. Also if you get the entire kit, be sure to get black switches on your controls, I ordered the chrome switches and the lettering on the switches is wearing off. I have only had the bars on for a couple thousand miles. Overall Good Deal Though
Yeah - these guys suck! They don't return calls and they have screwed a few of my friends. I used them for cables and extensions when I put 16's on my crossbones and was even going to use them again for the 17's I'm puttin on my RG but I can't get anyone to respond.
I decided to order a set of packaged apes about 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything from them. I think the communication is definately lacking. I understand last week was a holiday week but this is kind of ridiculous.
They charged my credit card right away and then I don't hear from them for 2 weeks and counting. I have read many positive posts but unfortunately right now feel like I'm getting experiencing what people with negative posts have gone through as far as not responding to emails and returning phone calls.
Huh, I made one phone call today about some longer cables. Answered on the first ring. Asked me what model, what size risers and bars, told me exactly how long each cable will need to be and that if I ordered with him today, he would have them in the mail first thing tomorrow. Wish I had the cash to back it right now, I would have ordered them today. Instead, I have to put it on hold.
