Default Need Help with my 88 softail rear M/C

I cant find this part anywhere........anyone know if I can use a newer m/c or where I can get the original??...........the part number I need is part#304 in the attachment...........thanks in advacne for any help

The master cylinder is no longer available from Harley, but they do sell a rebuild cartridge that will go in the old master cylinder housing. It replaces all the moving parts and seals, very easy job.

The bike is an 88.........the problem I have is the snap ring on the original m/c had broken ears so I cant remove the guts........Thats why i was kinda looking for an after market replacement....or oem. ..I appreicate the responses.........anyone else know of a replacement option.

Check ebay. Some guys have NOS or chromed leftover parts that they sell.

My bad... was thinking 88 inch... I'd check ebay and replace the whole thing?

Tell us what part you need using bikebandit`s illustration.

That where the hose connects to the Housing? (Plastic piece of Crap)

I really appreciate all of the responses...........my problem with the old plastic piece of junk is the snap ring ears are broken off so I cant diassemble the m/c/ to rebuild it.....thats why Im curious if I can use an aftermarket or different year model m/c to replace.......I saw the m/c, hose and reservoir on ebay last week ..........shoulda bought it
