Repeat after me, "My dealer ain't GOD, my dealer ain't GOD, my dealer ain't GOD, ..."

Time for a service manual, time for looking through aftermarket parts catalogs, and time to start working on the bike yourself, if practical.

My tach with never doing it before only took two hours becouse i just took my time and was careful with the paint.

After doing it once i could do it in a hour.

Do it yourself. It was amazing how well the tach was enginered to go on the bike with no problems.

You dont have to take the tank off, just lift it up alittle and take the seat off.

175 dollers is alot of labor for the tach.

At 80 dollers an hour minimum it is probebly fair though.

shop around for the parts, its pretty easy stuff to tackle, or use an independant to install.
