Default Wild 1 adapter

Thinking of putting Wild 1 bars apes on my 09 Fat Boy. Has anyone used the adapter kit that they have so the 1" step down will fit 1.25" risers? How is the quality of it and how exactly does it work? Part number W0805 or W0806 (not really sure on that).

Actually that product is a pretty good idea, I was considering that adapter before I bumped into the Carlini's 1.25"

It works creating an even 1.25" diameter area in the clamping spot, which is reduced to 1" in all chubby's, no rocket science and I think it is a good product when you don't want to manufacture different diameters in the clamping area of the handlebars since the majority of the production bike's risers are 1"...

You're talking about these:

One goes on top and the other one with the hole goes on bottom so you can still wire the electrics inside the handlebar...

That I figured, heck! the knurling on the adapter and chubby's looks by far better than some HD original equipment's risers and handlebars...

That's it. Not knowing how it goes together I wasn't sure if the handlebars would slip at all.

Has anyone else had any experience with the W0806 riser adapter?

Are the Harley fatty bars 1" in the riser area like Chubby's?
Reason I ask is, I have the 503's with "Deluxe" risers. I like the bars and all but want risers with a little more height/pullback.
I have a set of Deuce risers, but I think they'll hit the speedo when the wheel is turned.

Harley now offers 6" risers but it states in the PA cat they're for 1 1/4" bars.

Any thoughts?

I had HD fatty beach bars before my apes, they were 1.25" all the way (reduced only to 1" at the grips). My guess is that all HD fatty's are flat 1.25"
