I'll give ya a bump. Thinkin' bout this pipe also. Just throwin' out some info. Vance & Hines says the staggered shortshots give you 3-4 hp and 1-2 ft. lbs. over stock and the Comp. gets 10-11 hp and 5-6 ft. lbs. over stock. The Comp. will be louder and deeper than the shortshots.

a forum member has'em on a crossbones...couldn't find the posts but i've seen it here...imo they look great, but if your bike is efi and are using o2 sensors, then it don't look right cause the sensor a too visible...plus they cost too much $$$$...i also lost low end torque when i installed the drag pipes, yet feel got it back when added the high flow ac and tmax autotune ecm

Great pipe! you can really bring down the price, My Stealer was running a 20% off parts, 20% off labor, so i saved and got what I really wanted.
These pipes are raw and very cool, deep loud tone, vs. a Loud crack like some other vance and hines. They have a short baffle, and I took out all the matting material. They are not loud like vance and hines short shots without baffles, just a fyi!! They will break windows, holy hell!!
No heat shields, and they will discolor, Some think there ugly, and yes the o2 sensors are visable on the top front of the pipes, well? so what! Its a race pipe. Not ment to look shinny and pretty! If you want something really different and dependable with performance, the outlaw (comp) pipe is for you.
If you want clean, shinny,chrome exhaust, look else where! Theres alot of great exhaust out there, shop around, Its kinda of a love hate, thing,
People love the sound, love the look that they give on my bike, but you sense that they would not do it, but they like it ?????? as crazy as that sounds,
I didnt even get the bike home with the new comp exhaust, and because of no heat shields burnt my pant leg, so these get mother f- in.. hot...
so I wrapped the header pipes, and that made a world of a difference.
Thats it !! Im afraid to try any other exhaust system at this point, because I think I would be dissapointed, Bassani's are awsome lookin!! Great deals out there on hooker headers as well.
