Thumbs up Ferodo ST pads

Just got back from the first ride with the new Ferodo ST pads. Still breaking them in, but man what a difference! Main thing I'm seeing is a significant reduction in the amount of force required to brake the bike. Increase in braking force brings on a very linear, predictable increase in braking; no sudden "grabbyness" or that sinking feeling that your pads are getting very, very hot. Front is perhaps a touch overly sensitive but sure that'll smooth out once the pads are fully broken in. Overall, very confident feeling braking performance.

I used Russell DOT 5 in the new lines. Not sure how much that is contributing but it does seem to provide excellent control feedback to the levers.

Here are the original pads (top) compared to the Ferodo pads (bottom). Ferodo pads appear to have about 20% more contact surface:

BTW, the OEM rear pads, especially the inside one, were toast after 7800 miles
