At the dealer and the motorcycle show yesterday saw the Lo in the flesh. The seat and bars on the low kick azz on those on the stock fatboy. Did a comparo with the bars and was shocked at how uncomfortable the stock fatboy bars and seat were compared to the Lo. I still don't understand why the fork tins have to be glass black wile everything else is flat. Just does not look right to me. The salesman at the dealer agreed. The other thing I learned is that the frame is powdercoated flat instead of gloss.
The other thing that really got me was a bike with the Carlini gangster apes on it. Wow, those things rule. If I didn't already have apes and they weren't $350.
Yea i just got back from my local dealer who gives out FREE breakfast on the first Saturday of each month and took another look at the FATLO.
The bike does have alot of potential. I do like the satin silver dashes and primary. And if it were mine the first thing i would do is to strip it down then take everything to my local powdercoater and go powder fo'CRAZY...i mean everything....I bet that bike with some Carlini apes powdercoated black would set that bike off. Maybe some blacked out V&H true duals (no-fishtails) would set it off also.
i like my fatboy lol so far so good.....i am wainting to change out my stock mufflers rush is working on making satin chrome muffles i like that look or i will go with black rush mufflers. i leave my bike stock...might change the derby cover and timming cover maybe to the dark custom logo they look preety cool..

Look on his blemish page for a better price. Hell your in LA you can cruise to his shop and im sure get a cash price
I was just up there yesterday pickin up some 1 1/2 inch Piston Risers for my deluxe. Sending bottom of risers along with 1 1/2 inch Broomstick drags, tombstone taillight, dash, aux light bar and turn signals front and rear, along with cam cover off to powdercoating (gloss black)
Actually my debate is wether to change my rims from the "flameskull" rims i currently have and put back the stock spokes that i powdercoated completely black?
I put the Lo bars and Lo seat on my 07 Fat Boy. So far so good. I have long arms so the combination of the seat and low profile bars make the ride better for me.
