Put the Sporster jet into my springer over the weekend.No more lean pop anytime.To start it I just give it full throttle,hit the starter and it's running.I can then use the enrichner to idle or increase the rpms and let it warm up with the throttle lock.So far so good.Don't know about fuel mileage yet,but glad of no more pops through the intake.A/F screw is out about 2 1/2 turns,may have to turn it in some as I go.
