The throttle cables aren't tight but I did straighten the tubes a bit. In the pictures the bars are turned all the way to the stop, and as long as you don't ride around that way their shouldn't be a problem.....

Have to disagree with you there. Not all stock bars were created equal.
I have a 2007 Heritage Classic, they changed the bars that year and they sucked. They changed them back. I know a number of people myself included that changed them out. The hubby has a 2005 Dyna Wide Glide, sort of mini apes stock bars. I have changed my bars out to the Stock Wide Glide and it is a much better feel. I did not have to change any of the cables

That explains why some of the measurements I've seen for "mini apes" are the same as my stock bars! Now may main worry (if I use 4" pullback risers or the JP bars) is the wiring on the left side that seems to have no excess, but I see JP sells wiring extensions at 4" and up.
Your bars in the pic look perfect. (the white Herry)
edit: too much risk using the net, so I ordered 4" bent risers to work with the stock cap. This way I don't get a shipping return charge if I don't like the bars.

Wow, I got the 4-1/2" pullback risers and put them on yesterday, took a short ride. With the almost "mini ape" stock bars, these things put my hands up even with my shoulders, same as a set of apes!!! I had not expected it to be this radical.
Cool tho...have to get used to it. Cornering handling not a problem at any speed for me; I can still scrape off my footboards easily and negotiate the cars/trucks in the driveway. Brake line and left electricals stretched to their limits; almost aborted the operation until I rebent the brake tube to fit.
2/3 Took a long ride today and decided I love it this way. Hands are slightly below the shoulders; I can't imagine wanting to go higher. Took her through the twisties scrapin' floorboards all over the place. At least the cornering problem with the Heritage isn't the bars.
