Mimo what is the difference in HD Diamond Back and the magnums you suggested?
I've had both. There is nothing wrong with HD's DB. They are nice and their quality is good.
The Chromite II series from Magnum shielding are brighter (almost white chrome looking) while the HD's DB are grayish (stailess steel looking). BUT, Magnum shielding's lenght stock production is bigger, I could not find lines from Diamond Back for my 18" Carlini's, that is the big BUT...
Price is the other difference, Magnum's are a leeetle bit pricey but they are worth every penny.
To the OP, the slickbacks im running dont use a riser, they are "built in" and not much of one. But...my pops has 1.5" Carlini Gansta apes on his heritage with the "boob" risers and they look the ****! no pun intended lol.
HK, im in the process of a couple upgrades, a 23" front wheel being one to upgrade my 19 so once i get that on, i will make a post with some new pics. Stay tuned
Could someone bring me up to speed on the difference between stepped and non-stepped bars?
Thanks in advance,
Chromer
( stepped ) The diameter of the bars are reduced above your TT so that you can sill use your stock riser/clamp. Non stepped bars remain 1.25 or 1.50 all the way from tip to tip.
