Yep...i bought a Die Hard tender from Sears for about $22.00 or so. I keep it plugged in at all times when im not riding.
How do you like that new Camaro man? Now you got the best of both worlds don't ya.....Nothin like American muscle man...Congrats! I enjoy mine....
thanks for the responses gents.
CHROME... i actually don't have the Camaro yet, i put my deposit on 12/22 and as you know the plant is closed till monday so i don't think i'll get it till sometime in late february.
i absolutely can't wait though. you are right, definitely nothing like having two classic american machines, it's a great feeling.
I have the heated gloves from HD, can you just plug a tender into the little pigtail that comes from the battery? If so does the store brands come with the same plug?
Thanks
Tim
I just check the voltage on mine at the pig tail about once a week, and if it is down below about 12.4 I plug in the battery tender for a day. That usually brings it back up to well over 13. I guess it would be alright to just leave it on, but this way I do not over charge it and am able to keep track of it better. This is just my winter routine.
