Default Turn Signal Relocation

For you Crossbones/Springer owners, I've got the brackets to relocate my signals down to the rigid fork. Just wanted to know if there are any tips/advice, or is it really as straightforward as unscrewing the bolts, attaching the signals to the bracket, and then the bracket to the fork. Thanks for any feedback.

Just make sure no moving parts will hit it.................under the most extreme action and greatest amount of movement.

Yeah, it's that easy. You will have extra cable because of the shorter distance to the forks than the handle bars. You can either zip tie the loose cable up somewhere, or if your good at wrenching, I've heard of guys loosening up their gas tank, and pulling the excess cable back towards the battery. I did the first route since I suck with a wrench. There are also the four plastic clips that hold your cables to the bars. If you can manage to get them out without breaking them, good for you. I just pulled the little bastards out by force. Four new clips at the dealer can't be more than a dollar or two. Anyways... It's very simple.

For the cleanest looking job, mount the signals where you have determined they work best, then start at the signal and run the wires back toward the frame/tank area. Not too tight, but not loose and flopping. Neat and orderly and push any excess wire back into the frame where it comes out, doing so carefully so you don't nick any wires.
