Hey guys,, im back.. well, as you all reaad before I removed my tins for a painting.. and seeing how i have them off, Might as well do a few MODS in the Process.
Yeah yeah iknow Get the manual. I kick myself everyday for not having one...
But till i can scavange up some change for the book, I got you good ole' boys and girls to help me out...
So here is my problem.. My front turn signals route through my handle bars..ill post a pic..on the bottom..DO i have enough wire to do this MOD>
How do i remove these wires, FatBob riders Chime in please.
1. are they in the bar? 2. in the Neck 3. Do i have enough slack on these wires to run the modfrom the bars to my forks. 4. where are the disconnects located like the rear turn signals.
updated:::: the JP bracket assembly forthe 49mm forks, DO NOT WORK.
the lights upon install literally point your turn lights out ward, making it look like your Bike is cockeyed.
So far the under 50 Mod has come up empty, maybe its me, butthe brackets used there look completely different than the ones affixed on the FB's
Ughh this is sooo aggravating.
you should be able to order the turn signal hardware from other dynas to mount them to the tree. you will just need to order two of the #4 item in the pic
no sir. the problem isnt the actual brackets. its the fork tree, the bolt isnt in a 90 degree angle to the fork its recessed and in a steeper angle. they brackets you mentioned look nothing like the brackets that come with my bike.
Note the attachments. Notice the size of the bracket itself, its larger than others noted in previous posts. it doesnt seem to be the same
when you install either the JP assembly or the stock brackets for the signals, they point the signals outwards.

Thanks in advance.
As you may already know... the connecters for the turn signals are with the control connecters, stuffed in the frame under the tank. Find em, unplug em & pull em out of the frame. Dis-assemble the smaller turn sig plugs. Dis-assemble the control housings on the bar. Inside the lower half is a plastic tie wrap, cut & gently pull the turn sig wire out of the bars. Replace the tie wrap with a new one & re-assemble the switch housing. Re-assemble the turn sig plugs and you'll be ready to plug em back in.
There was more than enough foctory wiring for my relocation location.
