chrome oil tank 4 rocker

chrome oil tank 4 rocker
want to change out oil tank on my 2008 fxcwc with chrome. No replacement listed but went to local Harley dealer and found chrome oil tank on the fxstse (screaming eagle springer) looked exactly the same. Went to parts book and all part #s matched up except oil tank body(figured this may be due to color variances) Anyone out there know if the chrome oil tank on the fxstse is compatable w/ the rocker?

thanks for the replies guys-I know 62552-09 is the part # for the chrome tank on the fxstse but do the tabs match up w/ the frame on the fxcwc? In other words are the two interchangeable? I know the oil tank for the fxcwc has a different part#

The FXSTSE will fit the rocker.. I know a couple of guys that bought it and had it installed.. On the other hand, if I remember right, the price was like $800.. That seems pretty steep to me.. Better off chroming the one you have IMO..

My Rocker should be here tomorrow if it is delivered on schedule. It has a chrome oil tank on it, if someone knows where the part number would be on it I can check for you.

Big help-appreciate it. any idea how much to chrome old tank (ballpark)and do u know a good place to get it done-don't trust any of the places locally( N.E.Pa.). List price I got from dealer was $700

thanks Jaxx but I think we got it nailed now-How'd u get Harley to put a chrome oil tank on 4 u? I tried to get some options on mine from the factory when I 1st ordered it but nada, no help
