thats a nice bike lots u can do there. If u wanted u could even black out lots of the parts making it close to a night train but I went the other way ...chrome crazy now nothings left black on mine.
your bike looks great. can't even tell it's a standard
Great bike. Thats pretty much how mine looked when I brought it home, other than my drag bars. The options with the standard are absolutly endless. I added a ton of chrome to mine and have now decided I am bored with the standard and want something a little more touring(ish). I just picked up a fatboy custom paint set on ebay and a set of street glide hard bags. The bags will be quick disconnect and I already had a fairing that I bought to make quick disconnect to the forks. Here are a couple pics of mine.
I had a Softail once, it was a Standard.......................................... .................................................. ..................but it aint no more!
I also love my Standard. Some changes I have made. From the bags to the Progressive shocks to the Power Commander for the EFI,,,Dyno Tune woke her up big time...to the Mini Floorboards for our longer trips, the Mustang seat ...no butt issues, the HD rack and backrest, perfect for our slip over pack for overnighters...chrome front end..HD Bullet headlight...Vance & Hines BSS pipes...Hi flow SE air cleaner set up...chrome here and there....chrome axle covers,,,balh blah blah...the list goes on..but I love my Standard.
Enjoy yours, and ride safe.
