Default 09 Nighttrain

Hi all,
I have a question, hopefully someone can help me with. I bought a 09 and i wanted to put a side mount license plate on. this is the one i got:

I took the bike to the local harley dealer and they told me that HD changed the axel size to 1.5in instead of the 1in they use to have. My question is, is this true? Thanks in advance!!

Wow... That would be the first I heard of that? Sorry I don't have a answer for you. If you don't mind me asking... What Island you on? I'm on Oahu, Windward side of the Island.

If you're interested come on over to the night train piture thread there are a bunch of darkside guys there... Come on over an introduce yourself... Aloha Mark

I'd suggest finding a new mechanic. HD changed from 3/4" to 25mm (or 1") axle, not 1.5"

Guess I should have made what looked like a statement a bit more painfully obvious for what it was "smart a$$'d remark"
